Direct beach access is a huge plus, and the staff is friendly. The indoor pool was disappointing; it felt too cold. There’s a Tiki bar that had live music—fun atmosphere! Just be aware that the bathrooms need some work; sliding doors aren't the best.

The beach access is fantastic and the views from the balconies are beautiful. The indoor pool was cold and the restaurant had inconsistent hours, which was a hassle. They're close to golf and fishing options, making it a good spot for activities. Room cleanliness was hit or miss, with some areas needing more attention.

I loved the cozy vibe of my room! The indoor pool was so inviting, and I enjoyed my swims despite the chilly weather. Plus, the friendly staff made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived!

Totally recommend! 🥰🏖️

Charming atmosphere, charming beach access with easy access to the oceanfront views and a relaxing sitting area outside the restaurant.

No negatives from this place.

Arrived early and appreciated being able to check in ahead of schedule. The room was spacious and pet-friendly, a definite plus for traveling with our puppies. Friendly staff, solid breakfast buffet, and direct beach access added charm to our experience. the closed pool for renovations was disappointing. The staff’s response was less than satisfactory when we reported issues, including missed room service. Property cleanliness also fell short, with litter and lingering odors in the hallways. Despite the pleasant aspects, I left feeling underwhelmed by room conditions and service. Attention to these details could transform a good stay into a great one.

The beach is a stone's throw away, which is fantastic! The tiki bar offers a lovely ocean view, and breakfast is surprisingly tasty when keeping the price in mind.

The rooms could really use a makeover.

The room was well cleaned and had a pleasant smell, which was a plus. the mattress was an issue; it bowed out on the sides and caused severe back pain. Temperature control was adequate, but noise levels from neighboring rooms were disruptive. The bathroom's barn door was difficult to use, leading to an unfortunate incident. The lack of a fan made it muggy after showers. Breakfast was lukewarm, and the absence of a reliable pet-friendly room was noticeable. the space had potential, but several aspects need significant improvement.

I had a blast enjoying live music at the Tiki Hut, and visiting the Wright Brothers Memorial Park nearby. The beachy decor was charming, and I loved lounging on the sandy stretch with a good book.

Who doesn't love finding sand on the bathroom floor before even hitting the beach? .

The oceanfront room was pristine, providing easy beach access. The staff were friendly and accommodating, enhancing our experience. The on-site restaurant, although limited in service, offered delicious food, making it a solid choice for future visits.

The ocean view was stunning, and the beach access was fantastic. Breakfast was reasonably priced, and the tiki bar had tasty bites. noise was a constant issue; conversations spilled in from the balcony, and I woke up to a car alarm. Dated bathrooms with poor pressure and a lack of ventilation were disappointing. The room had a musty smell, and cleanliness was questionable—food stains on comforters and dirty fridges weren’t ideal. Despite some upgrades, it felt like the hotel still needed more attention to detail and maintenance to match its beautiful location.

Just a balanced option for a quick layover in Kill Devil Hills with value for money. Great beach access.

The whole week was a letdown. The pool was closed, and I really wanted to relax in the hot tub, but that area was off-limits too. Honestly, I expected better for the price we paid. Total disappointment!

The staff was friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The pool area was fun and the kids loved it!

It wasn’t the cheapest option, but it’s alright.

We tried water skiing and parasailing, it was so epic! The grassy lawn with swings and the small gym made it fun. The beach was lit, and we even went crab hunting one crazy night - you gotta try it!

We wish they had better music and organized beach bonfire parties for us to turn up and chillax with our squad! .

The grassy lawn with swings and on-site market added a cozy touch. The small gym was a nice perk for staying active on vacation.

My wife says that children's activities could be improved.

Had a blast with my furry friend in the pet-friendly ground floor rooms with a fabulous view. The deck, pool, and hot tub were excellent amenities. The staff was super friendly and the location was spot on for a relaxing weekend getaway by the ocean.

The room we booked for my husband's wheelchair needs wasn't practical with a full tub and high balcony step. The noise at night and the dirty, dated bathroom were disappointing.

When we first arrived at the Ramada Plaza, we were greeted by friendly staff who quickly checked us in. The room itself was pleasant and clean, with comfortable beds and a nice view from the balcony. The bathroom was a bit tight but had all the essentials needed. One thing that stood out was the lack of ironing facilities in the room. It would have been helpful to have this available, especially for those needing to freshen up their clothes. while the air conditioning worked fine, it would have been nice to have a bit more control over the room temperature. the hotel offered tea and coffee facilities, which was a nice touch for a morning pick-me-up. The free toiletries provided were of good quality and added a touch of luxury to our stay. we did notice a musty smell in the room upon arrival, which may have been due to the lack of proper ventilation in the bathroom. As for entertainment options, we were disappointed to find out that the pool was under construction and not available during our stay. This was a letdown as we were looking forward to relaxing by the pool. The hotel also misrepresented the room type we booked, which led to some confusion and extra charges. our experience at Ramada Plaza had its ups and downs. While there were aspects that could be improved upon, such as the lack of ironing facilities and misleading room descriptions, we still enjoyed our stay thanks to the friendly staff and clean room. It's a decent option for a short stay, but there are areas that could be addressed to provide a more enjoyable experience.

Had a sweet restaurant and was super close to the waves. Plus, the staff was so kind, and our room had a killer ocean view!

Man, those walls felt paper-thin! Could practically hear the neighbors' full convo.

ramada inobx was a great stay for us! the staff were fabulous and the beach access was excellent for a stroll along the sand. the tiki bar and outdoor patio were amazing, and the staff kept the area neat and clean. we also enjoyed the optional breakfast buffet and the cute books by a local author in the lobby. the location was perfect for an OBX trip.

Couldn't find any faults at all 😊

I chose Ramada for its convenient location near the OBX Beach Access, and I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional customer service. The bite on the patio at Beachcombers Wood Fired Grille and Tiki Hut was delightful.

Unexpected disturbance by unruly guests.
